Who we are
This website is operated by ARIA IKE (“Aria Catamaran”, “we”), Topali 2B, Volos, 38221, Greece. We are the data controller for the personal data you send us through this website. For any question about your data, email us at info@odysseysailing.gr.
What we collect and why
When you send a booking request we receive the details you enter: first and last name, email address, phone number (if given), preferred dates, number of guests, charter type and your message. We use them only to answer your request, check availability, send you a quote and, if you book, to arrange your charter.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your first name and email address are needed so we can reply; all other fields are optional. We do not use your details for marketing and we never sell them.
Booking requests are handled by our charter partner Odyssey Sailing, who receives them at info@odysseysailing.gr and replies on our behalf.
Service providers
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes the booking form. When you start filling in the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that it is sent by a person and not a bot; it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics, and does not use them for advertising.
- Zoho ZeptoMail delivers the email containing your request to our inbox.
These providers act as processors under data-processing agreements. Where they process data outside the European Economic Area, they rely on the safeguards of the GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across sites. Fonts, images and videos are served from our own domain; the only third-party script is Cloudflare Turnstile, loaded when you use the booking form.
How long we keep your data
We keep booking requests for as long as needed to handle them and, if you book, for the period required by Greek tax and commercial law. Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 24 months.
Security
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the booking form is protected against automated abuse. Only the people who handle bookings have access to your requests.
Links to other websites
Some links lead to other websites, such as Google Maps, the Odyssey Sailing sailing guide or our web developer. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Email us at info@odysseysailing.gr and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
